Relief supplies
We accept selected aid supplies for Albania. According to need, we compile aid shipments and support poor families, as well as organizations and institutions in various cities. If you would like to make donations in kind, please contact us. Some examples:
- School and church furniture, hospital beds
- Medical equipment and care materials
- Hygiene articles and food
- Toys and games
- Workable computers and laptops
- Vehicles suitable for off-road use
Be a multiplier
Help us to spread the word: In your personal environment, but also in social media. You can make use of our flyers and media, perhaps even your own experiences in Albania or with relief activities. If you are interested, we’ll be happy to visit you and present our work.
Many people are very open to direct, comprehensible aid campaigns in line with our motto “Love reaching people” – once they get to know them.
Fundraising
As a non-profit organization, our work is based on donations: for the operation of our social projects, for relief supplies and to cover necessary transport and administration costs. Would you like to organize your own fundraising campaign? Or do you have contact with potential donors, companies or churches in your area? By raising donations, you will make an enormously important contribution to the Albania relief efforts.
Prayer support
As our name “Christian Aid Association” suggests, we believe that prayer opens up new possibilities. Do you? Then support us by praying for our team in Germany as well as for the projects, employees and people we support in Albania. You can find current concerns in our newsletters. Missions in Albania
For operations in Albania, we always need volunteers to help, for example, with unloading and distributing Christmas parcels or family packages, driving trucks or off-road vehicles, working in village and evangelization outreaches, or helping with construction activities. Depending on the mission, interested people can also just join us to discover the work and the country. Each team will be put together according to the goal of the respective mission and the available resources.

Requirements for participants
Team spirit: For the duration of the assignment, we are a workgroup abroad. You should be willing to integrate into the group and accept the team leadership.
Open mind: It goes without saying that participants should be receptive to the people we meet on location and should accept the living conditions there as we find them.
Solidarity: Christians as well as non-Christians can take part in CHW missions. But of course you should be fundamentally behind our work.
Physical fitness: Work and climate in Albania place certain demands on the physical condition of the participants. Some of the remote villages have no medical services available.
Social commitment
For companies today, social commitment is more important and self-evident than ever. Church communities and associations are also looking for reliable partners for their specific engagement – for children in need, for the global South, for sustainable development… Youth groups, school classes, scouts etc. can find access to the reality of life in other countries through a partnership.
Even occasional involvement is a good thing. But with a steady partnership, you, your members or employees and customers identify even more strongly with a specific aid project. You can follow the progress of the work on the ground and see the impact your help has on other people.
